1. A method of wireless communication for an access point, comprising:
allocating a plurality of resource blocks for wireless communication; and
transmitting data on a first resource block of the plurality of resource blocks, wherein the first resource block is associated with a first set of tone indices and a second set of tone indices, and the first set of tone indices is a set of nominal tone indices that is logically mapped to a second set of tone indices that is a set of physical tone indices,
wherein the second set of tone indices is based on a mapping by an interleaver matrix function of the first set of tone indices, and wherein an input into the interleaver matrix function is the first set of tone indices.
