1. A method for accessing content related to geolocated hotspots based on a user's location, comprising:
receiving, in response to a request from a user device, a list of one or more geolocated hotspots that are located within a same zone as a first location of the user, wherein the list of one or more geolocated hotspots is received as only a single transaction between the user device and a server;
determining whether one or more of the geolocated hotspots in the list of one or more geolocated hotspots are near a second location of the user, wherein the second location of the user is the user's current location; and
triggering the user device to notify the user after determining the second location is near one or more geolocated hotspots from the list of one or more geolocated hotspots,
wherein the determining whether one or more of the geolocated hotspots in the list of one or more geolocated hotspots are near a second location of the user is performed locally in the user device.
