1. A method for reducing gaps in recording coverage of an event, comprising:
registering a plurality of mobile recording devices associated with an event to be recorded at the centralized recording coordination server;
retrieving data being recorded by said plurality of mobile recording devices by said centralized recording coordination server, said centralized recording coordination server analyzing said recorded data to identify any gaps in coverage of the event; and
said centralized recording coordination server requesting mobile recording devices to initiate or continue recording to reduce any potential gaps in coverage of the event.
