1. An image-capturing device comprising:
an area image sensor that generates image-capture data and outputs the image-capture data corresponding to one frame in response to receiving either one of a first vertical synchronization signal and a second vertical synchronization signal that are successive;
an image-data-generation circuit that generates image data on the basis of the image-capture data corresponding to the one frame;
a display that displays the image data corresponding to the one frame in response to receiving a third vertical synchronization signal; and
a timing generation circuit that outputs the first and the second vertical synchronization signals to the area image sensor and the third vertical synchronization signal to the display, the timing generation circuit outputting the second vertical synchronization signal such that interval between the first vertical synchronization signal and the second vertical synchronization signal is changeable,
the timing generation circuit outputting the second vertical synchronization signal at a timing after the first vertical synchronization signal has been output and the image data corresponding to the one frame has been output to the display and before the third vertical synchronization is output.
