1. A system comprising:
a magnetically isolated phase stator for a machine having a plurality of electrical phases, the magnetically isolated phase
stator comprising at least one stator phase section with at least two stator teeth and at least one winding slot having an
angular distance between the at least two stator teeth and at least one magnetically inactive isolation region having an angular
distance equal to the at least one winding slot angular distance multiplied by a reciprocal of a number of the electrical
phases.
