1. A separator comprising:
a porous substrate, and
a coating layer on one side or both sides of the porous substrate,
wherein the coating layer comprises:
a filler (A) having an average particle diameter of about 0.3 μm to about 2 μm; and
a binder (B) comprising: an organic polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of about −50° C. to about 60° C.; and an inorganic particle having an average particle diameter of about 5 nm to about 200 nm, an organic particle having an average particle diameter of about 5 nm to about 200 nm, or a combination thereof,
wherein, in the binder (B), the inorganic particle, the organic particle or the combination thereof is included in an amount of about 10 parts by weight to about 100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the organic polymer.
