1. A composition comprising a polymer and at least one light-emitting dopant, the polymer comprising repeat units of formula (I) and one or more co-repeat units:

Ar1 in each occurrence independently represents an aryl or heteroaryl group;
R1 and R2 are independently, in each occurrence, C1-40 hydrocarbyl, —OR11, —SR11, —N(R11)2, or —Si(R11)3, wherein R11 in each occurrence is a C1-40 hydrocarbyl;
p independently in each occurrence is 0 or a positive integer;
Sp represents a C1-20 alkyl chain spacer group wherein one or more non-adjacent C atoms of the chain may be replaced with O, S, —NR11, —Si(R4)2—, —C(═O)— or —COO— and wherein R4 in each occurrence is independently H or a C1-40 hydrocarbyl group, with the proviso that Sp contains at least one sp3-hybridized carbon atom separating the two Ar1 groups; and
each group Ar1 is bound to an aromatic group of a co-repeat unit;
wherein the light-emitting dopant is a phosphorescent dopant having a photoluminescent spectrum with a peak in the range of 400-490 nm.
