1. A marine multibeam sonar device comprising:
a transmitter including a plurality of transmit channel circuits, each transmit channel circuit configured to receive a transmit transducer electronic signal and including a low pass filter;
a plurality of transmit transducers, each transmit transducer connected to one of the plurality of transmit channel circuits, oriented in a linear array that is configured to form a transmit acoustic beam based on shaped transmit transducer electronic signals;
a memory element; and
a processing element in communication with the transmitter and the memory element, the processing element being configured to—
generate the transmit transducer electronic signals, each including a serial binary bitstream formed from a single bitstream pattern of a series of ones and zeros corresponding to a sine wave shape;
wherein the low pass filter is configured to shape the transmit transducer electronic signal as a sine wave.
