1. A method for an engine, comprising:
during engine operation where the engine is at least spinning,
measuring manifold pressure at a first throttle angle;
determining a barometric pressure at a second throttle angle;
indicating degradation of a manifold pressure sensor based on a sensor offset, the sensor offset determined by equating a first ratio between the manifold pressure and a reference manifold pressure determined at the first throttle angle and at a reference barometric pressure, and a second ratio between the barometric pressure and the reference barometric pressure, the indicating including notifying an operator; and
adjusting engine operation based on the sensor offset.
