1. A liquid crystal composition with a negative dielectric anisotropy, comprising:
a compound represented by Formula (I) in a range of 10% by mass to 40% by mass; and

a compound represented by General Formula (VII-a2) in a range of 5% by mass to 40% by mass;

a compound represented by General Formula (II) of equal to or more than 15% by mass,

wherein each of R1 and R2 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkenyloxy group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms; one or more hydrogen atoms of the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, the alkoxy group or the alkenyloxy group may be substituted with fluorine atoms, and the methylene groups of the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, the alkoxy group or the alkenyloxy group may be substituted with oxygen atoms unless the oxygen atoms are continuously bonded, or may be substituted with carbonyl groups unless the carbonyl groups are continuously bonded; and
wherein the liquid crystal composition comprises a compound represented by General Formula (III):

wherein each of R3 and R4 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkenyloxy group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms; one or more hydrogen atoms of the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, the alkoxy group or the alkenyloxy group may be substituted with fluorine atoms, and the methylene groups of the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, the alkoxy group or the alkenyloxy group may be substituted with oxygen atoms unless the oxygen atoms are continuously bonded, or may be substituted with carbonyl groups unless the carbonyl groups are continuously bonded.
