1. A process for dispersing pigment having a color in an eyelash coating composition comprising water, at least one pigment having a color in an amount of 0.1-30% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, and at least one wax in an amount of 5% to 50% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, wherein the process comprises dispersing the pigment in an eyelash coating composition with an emulsifying system comprising at least one C16-C18 alkyl phosphate and steareth-2, such that the color of the pigment is not inhibited by aggregation of the pigment in the eyelash coating composition, and wherein the eyelash coating composition does not comprise more than 0.1% by weight relative to the total composition of a volatile silicone.
