OG exemplary drawing

1. A suturing device having a proximal end and a distal end, comprising:
an arced suturing needle having a leading end, a second end, and a length of suture;
a housing at the distal end of the suturing device, the housing defining a needle track therein that receives the needle and defines a circular path about an axis of rotation that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the suturing device;
a reciprocating needle drive including a reciprocating needle driver operable to releasably engage the needle and rotate the needle along the circular path; and
a sliding cover on the housing, the cover being slidable relative to the housing to facilitate release of the arced suturing needle from the needle track.
