Subject:  State and Country Technology Emphasis Report Files Having a ".zip" File Extension



Description of the contents of the compressed ".zip" extension files:

  ai_corp2013.zip :
  ---------------
    "State and Country Technology Emphasis Report, Corporate Patenting, Utility Patent Grants,
    Calendar Years 2003 and 2013" - Presents the technology emphasis of utility patents owned 
    by a non-Federal government organization at the date of grant; technology emphasis is 
    displayed by state and country of patent origin and by U.S. Patent Classification 
    System class for the patents granted in calendar years 2003 and 2013.


  The compressed ".zip" files in this directory, 

    http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/ido/oeip/taf/data/misc/tech_emphasis/ai_corpYYYY.zip, 

  contain the contents of the PTMT report, "State and Country Technology Emphasis Report,
  Corporate Patenting Utility Patent Grants, YYYY".


  The full set of tables for each report is contained in 
  a single compressed ".zip" file.

  To view the files contained in a compressed ".zip" file, the 
  files should extracted from the compressed file and copied to 
  a separate, preferably empty, directory on a PC where they 
  can be accessed using a web browser. A contents or index 
  web page file includes links to each of the report tables. 
  The name of the contents or index web page file is as follows:

"ai_corp2013.zip" - after extracting the files to a separate
                    directory, start by opening the 
                    "ai_regions_c.htm" file in a web browser

compressed archive ".zip" files is available by following
