Experienced practitioners webinar: Trademark ex parte expungement and reexamination proceedings

Since the Trademark Modernization Act (TMA) was enacted three years ago, the USPTO has instituted more than 2,000 TMA proceedings to remove unused registrations from the federal trademark register that make it difficult for legitimate businesses to register their trademarks.

Join us virtually on Tuesday, June 24, from 2-3:30 p.m. ET to get insights on TMA proceedings, including best practices for petitioners and the success of these proceedings at clearing clutter from the trademark register.

Please note that this training is designed for experienced trademark professionals and will include advanced legal terminology and system functionalities. However, all trademark filers may attend.

We only have space for 1,000 attendees, so please register by June 20 to secure your spot. You can find information on accessibility, continuing legal education credits, submitting questions, and more on the event page.

The webinar will conclude with a question-and-answer session. Submit questions ahead of the event to TMWebinar@uspto.gov.
