The USPTO invites you to join the 2025 National Patent Application Drafting Competition (NPADC) finals virtually this Friday, April 4, beginning at 9 a.m. ET.

The competition gives law students an opportunity to develop patent skills by conducting a prior art search and drafting patent claims for a hypothetical invention scenario. During the competition, law students present their search strategy along with proposed claims for evaluation and feedback.
