Grand opening of the Tuskegee University Patent and Trademark Resource Center

Alabama inventors, business owners, and entrepreneurs: Join us in person or virtually to celebrate the grand opening of Tuskegee University's new Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) on Wednesday, June 25, from 8:45 a.m. to noon CT. A PTRC provides free assistance to the public on patent and trademark information.

The grand opening celebration will include an official designation ceremony with remarks from USPTO and university leaders. Additionally, attendees can participate in free workshops to: 

• Get an overview of intellectual property (IP) concepts
• Learn about the trademark process and fundamentals
• Discover the essentials of patent searching
• Gain valuable insights from PTRC representatives and IP subject matter experts
