Check out the latest updates for our event Game Changers: Invention, sports, and style!

We've teamed up with the Smithsonian Institution’s Lemelson Center and Politics of Patents to bring you a day full of innovation exploration and learning at the Change Your Game / Cambia tu juego exhibition at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C., February 15 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Join us for activities for all ages where you can:

  • Listen to story time, featuring the picture book series "Abby Invents"
  • Try hands-on activities to invent a shoe, build a stadium, and design athletic clothing
  • See how you look in a collection of reconstructed sportswear innovations from the 1890s to 1940s

Check out our event page to learn more about these and other activities. Inspiring innovators will also be there to share their stories about sports and invention. We will provide updates to the event page as they become available.

Registration is not required. Email northeast@uspto.gov for questions about this event.
