Entrepreneurship Essentials Road Show and Resource Fair for members of the military community
As the result of a combat-related injury in Iraq in 2009, Army veteran and innovator Nick Riplinger came up with an idea to keep his brothers-and-sisters-in-arms safe. Little did he know that his idea would turn into a million-dollar business.
Join us, in collaboration with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, on Thursday, October 3, from 8:30 a.m. to noon ET to hear more about Nick's story and from other veteran and military spouse business owners. They'll discuss starting your own business and the resources and tools that can help you succeed.
You'll also hear from Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and experts in business development and intellectual property protection.
This is your chance to learn more about entrepreneurship through panel discussions, an audience Q&A, and a resource fair with exhibitors from entrepreneurship support organizations.
This in-person event is free, open to the general public, and will be livestreamed.
Please visit our Entrepreneurship Essentials Workshop and Resource Fair page for more information and to register for the event, and our Entrepreneurship resources for the military community page for more about our military outreach initiative.
