2024 Black Innovation and Entrepreneurship program: Innovate, elevate, and empower

Join us for our free 2024 Black Innovation and Entrepreneurship program tomorrow, February 22, from 1-3:30 CT virtually or in person at the T-REX Building in St. Louis, Missouri. Opening remarks will be provided by Derrick Brent, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Deputy Director Brent will also lead a fireside conversation with Black entrepreneurs and representatives from organizations that support innovators of color, including the National Business League (NBL) and Harris-Stowe State University’s Center of Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Additionally, special guests and expert panelists will discuss resources and services that can help you access capital, protect your intellectual property (IP), find mentors, and network with fellow innovators and entrepreneurs.
After the program, in-person participants can attend a networking session with subject matter experts from the USPTO, sponsored by the Missouri Small Business Development Center, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. CT.
The Black Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program is presented by the Office of Innovation Outreach. For more information, or if you have any questions, please email InnovationOutreach@uspto.gov.
