University of Utah’s Patent and Trademark Resource Center 40th anniversary celebration

Director Kathi Vidal to give remarks

Join us virtually or in person on Tuesday, September 24, from 1-2:30 p.m. MT for the 40th anniversary of the Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) at the University of Utah’s J. Willard Marriott Library. We’ll celebrate the growth of innovative industries in Utah with a panel discussion on intellectual property (IP) as a public good and remarks from Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Utah inventors, business owners, and entrepreneurs attending in person can join us from 2:30-5 p.m. MT for workshops on IP basics, patent and trademark searching, and protecting IP across a variety of industries.
