Are you a K-12 educator looking to integrate creativity, innovation, and problem-solving concepts into your classroom through invention education? Apply today to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI).   

Whether you’re new to invention education or you’ve been a passionate advocate for years, NSTI is the program for you.  

What is NSTI?

It’s a freeunique professional development experience that provides the tools you need to unlock the power of invention education, intellectual property (IP), and STEM, and give your students the skills, mindset, and confidence they need to reach their potential.

When and where is it?

NSTI will take place July 21-26 at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

If selected, flight, lodging, and meals are covered for teachers who live more than 50 miles from the venue in Alexandria, Virginia. Teachers who reside less than 50 miles from the NSTI venue will receive all the benefits of the program except travel and lodging support.

Interested individuals can find more information about the program and apply on the NSTI webpage. You can also join us for an informational webinar on Tuesday, January 30, from 6-7:30 p.m. ET.

Applications are due by March 31, 2024.
