Join the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for a one-day patents boot camp on October 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT at Sacramento Valley Small Business Development Center in Sacramento, California. This in-person, single-day workshop for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and inventors, will cover tools, techniques, and resources to understand the patent application process.

Topics will include:

• Searching prior art
• Drafting claims 
• Understanding the application forms
• Using Patent Center to file electronically

A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
