June 15: China IP Road Show in Texas—Strategies for protecting intellectual property in China
Register to attend this free, all-day presentation on June 15 by experts from the U.S. government, intellectual property (IP) attorneys, and local businesspeople on how U.S. rights holders can protect their IP in both China and the U.S.
Organized in cooperation with the U.S. Commercial Service Dallas-Fort Worth, the Dallas Bar Association, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Texas Regional Office, this in-person program will focus on the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, examining:
- What small and medium-sized businesses need to know about protecting all types of IP in China
- IP developments in China: Challenges and opportunities in a shifting IP environment
- Enforcing IP rights, in both China and the U.S., against infringement originating in China
- U.S. government resources for U.S. companies
- IP and China: The Texas experience
A question-and-answer session will close out the program.
This event will take place Thursday, June 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT in Dallas, Texas. Please note that it is an in-person program; it will not be webcast.
