June 13: Sustainable innovation dialogue in Honolulu
Register to attend this interactive program on Tuesday, June 13, that will bring together a diverse group of intellectual property (IP) stakeholders and senior government officials to engage in wide-ranging discussions on incentivizing, protecting, and commercializing climate-related innovations.
The half-day program will feature presentations by leaders of the world’s five largest IP offices, the IP5:
- Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office
- Antonio Campinos, President of the European Patent Office
- Hamano Koichi, Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office
- Lee Insil, Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office
- Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration
Other presenters will include representatives from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), industry, and the Hawaiian innovation community.
This in-person program will also be livestreamed for remote participation. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required. Due to space limitations, early registration for in-person attendance in Honolulu is recommended.
