President Biden directed our agencies to balance the need for transparency and competition in a consolidated seed industry with the need to maintain innovation and protect intellectual property. This effort to prioritize competition and fair prices in the agricultural industry is especially timely since rising costs across the board have squeezed farmer’s margins.
