Find the right mentorship mix to support your students on their innovation journeys

How do educators combine innovation, invention, and mentorship to help their students succeed? Join us virtually on October 31 from 6-7:30 p.m. ET to hear the inspiring story of Antonio Gamboa, a high school science teacher who supported a student team that included Katia Avila—patented inventor and current University of California, Santa Cruz computer engineering major—along their innovation journey.

Listen in as they share their transformative experiences, challenges, and triumphs:

  • Take a deep dive with Katia Avila and discover the inspiration behind Heart & Sole, a low-cost wearable device for diabetics to measure blood flow and oxygen levels in their feet.
  • Get insights from Antonio Gamboa on his mentorship experience and the vital role invention plays in education.
  • Engage in the discussion and get your invention education questions answered.
