EquIP HQ: A new and exciting resource for learners and educators

EquIP HQ platform

On February 28 from  6-7:30 p.m. ET, join the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Office of Education as we explore EquIP HQ. This is a new web-based portal designed for K-12 educators and learners to support the development of STEM-based lesson plans that will enhance student learning, creativity, and innovation. Juan Valentin, an education program advisor at the USPTO and David Youngblut, Director of Learning Design at Second Avenue Learning, will explain the genesis of the project and walk participants through using this exciting new tool. Register today for this virtual event.

The primary goal of EquIP HQ is to raise intellectual property awareness, knowledge, and understanding among K-12 learners and educators. It offers standards-aligned, integrated K-12 lesson plans that allow educators to choose lessons appropriate for their learners. Through this platform, we hope to enable all learners to recognize their power to actively participate in the innovation ecosystem.
