Empowering Women's Entrepreneurship

While women represent the fastest growing category of entrepreneurs worldwide, they remain severely underrepresented as business owners compared to men, and still struggle to acquire funding for their ventures.

In effort to assist women entrepreneurs, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Department of Commerce (DOC) launched Women’s Entrepreneurship (WE), a community-focused, collaborative, and creative initiative to inspire women and tap their potential to meaningfully increase equity, job creation, and economic prosperity.

Join us for our next WE event on Wednesday, February 22 virtually or in person at the Phoenix Bioscience Core, known as 850 PBC, located in Phoenix, Arizona. The event will feature Under Secretary for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO, Kathi Vidal.
