August 2: Stakeholder listening session on U.S. intellectual property priorities abroad
Join intellectual property (IP) experts and senior officials from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on August 2 from 3-6 p.m. PT to hear about the latest developments in the USPTO's international engagements in multilateral and bilateral forums on IP, and how they affect the interests of U.S. stakeholders. You will also learn about USPTO resources available to stakeholders as they expand into international markets.
This free, hybrid program—to be conducted in-person in Seattle and online—will be held on the margins of the August meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) IP Experts Group in Seattle. Registration is required by August 1 for either attendance option, however, we recommend early registration for the in-person attendance in Seattle due to space limitations.
With multiple moderated panels during the program, this will be an unparalleled opportunity for IP stakeholders to discuss their priorities and concerns regarding the protection and enforcement of their IP rights overseas.
To request to speak on one of the stakeholder panels, submit a request by July 28 via the registration page. To attend in person or to watch the program online, visit the registration page. A link to the online stream will be sent to all online registrants.
A recording of this event will be made available at a later date for those unable to attend. For more information and to register, visit the USPTO website.
