USPTO expands training resources to independent applicants

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has launched its new Stakeholder Offerings and Resources (SOaR) program which will host its first training event, Learn about Patent Center and the Patent Public Search tool, on September 15, from 1-3 p.m. ET. Pre-registration is required.

During this training, attendees will:

• Learn how to use Patent Center to file and manage patent documents online
• View a live patent search demonstration

This training will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

Once you have registered, you will receive instructions for joining the webinar by email prior to the event.

As part of the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) modernization efforts, the SOaR program replaces the virtual instructor-led training (vILT) program and expands its publicly-offered virtual trainings to both IP practitioners and applicants.
