USPTO considers Final Pretrial Conference Pilot Program

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) is considering implementing a pilot program for holding Final Pretrial Conferences (FPC) in certain inter partes (trial) cases. The goal of the pilot is to save time and resources of parties and the TTAB and to foster the effective and efficient presentation of evidence.

The proposed template for the FPC Order is available on the TTAB page on the USPTO website.

Stakeholders may provide feedback on the pilot and the FPC Order template via TTABFeedback@uspto.gov.
