Coming next week: Learn how examiners approach examining evidence

Would you like to learn more about examination practices and procedure guidance for 35 U.S.C. § 103 examining evidence? Register today for part three of the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) series. The course has limited capacity and selection for attendance is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Part three of this course series is being offered three times:
Trainers will lead this course based on recent training delivered to patent examiners and present hypothetical examples on how to construct clear and complete 35 U.S.C. § 103 examining evidence.
Part three registrants will learn basic information regarding:
- Case law examples that apply to KSR v. Teleflex
- Preponderance of evidence standard
- Examples on how examiners consider evidence
The USPTO has been approved for three hours of continued learning education (CLE) credit in Virginia for this course. Visit the USPTO’s vILT page to learn more about the program and upcoming sessions.
