Director Kocialski will also participate in one-on-one consultations with entrepreneurs who have specific questions in advance of the roundtable session for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Trademark Tuesday: the basics

In collaboration with other partners located across the region, we will host an interactive session with experts from the Trademark Assistance Center (TAC). TAC experts will provide an overview of various aspects of trademarks.

Denver Fashion Week

Rocky Mountain Regional USPTO Director Molly Kocialski, Digital Marketing Executive of Marketing Engineering Group and inventor Sirena Rolfe, and Primary Patent Examiner Kristina DeHerrera will present on the importance of intellectual property in the ever-changing industry of fashion design, and the strategic management and use of IP rights to reduce risk and enhance the competitiveness of all types of businesses in the fashion industry.

The path to a patent, part two: patent searching

In this module of the three-part series, we will discuss the benefits of searching, how to perform a prior art search using keywords and the Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) system, and how to build a search strategy.

Learn how to maintain your federal trademark registration during an interactive questio-and-answer session with experts from the Trademark Assistance Center (TAC). This event is intended for individuals with a beginning to intermediate level of knowledge of trademarks. To get the most out of this event, we recommend participants attend the Trademark Tuesday session on November 12. One hour of MCLE credit has been applied for.

Learn how to protect your client’s IP abroad

December 6, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. MT

Rocky Mountain Regional USPTO, Denver, Colorado

The USPTO's International Patent Legal Administration will host a seminar on considerations and options for filing foreign patent applications. The discussion will include an overview of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and the use of the Paris Convention for non-PCT countries. One hour of MCLE credit has been applied for.
