Copyright protection to be explored at this free day-long program on protecting your IP in China

Businesses, individuals, and attorneys looking to hear about strategies for better protecting intellectual property in China should plan to attend our China IP Road Show in Durham, North Carolina on April 25.

A morning session of the program will feature Doris Long, professor emeritus at the John Marshall School of Law and a former attorney-advisor at the USPTO. She will speak about copyright protection in China, including the ability to use copyright not only to protect creations primarily protected by copyright, but also as a backup for design and trademark protection.

To register for the Durham program, visit the event page at USPTO.gov. There is no charge to attend.

The Durham China IP Road Show is the latest in a series of such programs we are conducting across the country. To learn more about the series, including other upcoming programs, visit the China IP Road Show page on the USPTO website.
