Change in procedure: Trademark abandonment notices will be sent by email
|
|
Be on the lookout for emailed trademark notices of abandonment instead of postcards or paper notices.
Starting Dec. 7, we will begin using email for all such notices if the user has authorized email communication. This change supports our objective of end-to-end electronic processing of all trademark applications.
It is important to provide and to maintain an accurate email address so you do not miss official trademark correspondence.
To sign up for email correspondence, or to change an email address on record with our office, use the TEAS Change of Correspondence Address form.
