Webinar on recent changes and proposals for AIA trials

The PTAB is hosting a special “Boardside Chat” webinar tomorrow Wednesday, Nov. 7 from noon to 1 p.m. ET about a variety of recent changes and proposals for AIA trials proceedings including:

• the process of paneling cases (Standard Operating Procedure 2);
• the process for issuing precedential decisions (Standard Operating Procedure 1);
• the claim construction standard to be applied in AIA trials, which recently changed from the broadest reasonable interpretation to the standard used in federal courts; and 
• proposed changes to motion to amend practice.

Acting Chief Judge Scott Boalick, Acting Deputy Chief Judge Jackie Bonilla, and Vice Chief Judge Scott Weidenfeller are the featured panelists.
