The PTAB will conclude its judicial conference series in Dallas tomorrow with a program from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT in the Meadows Conference Center, 2900 Live Oak Street. CLE has been requested.

The judicial conferences, which are free and open to the public, were designed to facilitate day-long interaction between PTAB judges and attendees. In the morning, PTAB judges facilitate oral and written advocacy practicums so attendees can learn about best practices for presenting arguments to the Board. In the afternoon, they discuss hot topics like patent eligible subject matter and motion to amend practice, with PTAB judges. At the conclusion of the program, there is an informal reception to foster continued dialogue between the bench and bar.

The PTAB has held four conferences so far this summer in Alexandria, Virginia; Detroit; Denver; and San Jose, California. For more details about the conferences, visit the PTAB Judicial Conferences page of the USPTO website.
