Sign up for inventor STEPP training

Today is the last day to sign up for the Inventor 3-Day Course provided by the Stakeholder Training on Examination Practice and Procedure (STEPP) program. The course will be held August 14-16 at our headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Inventor 3-Day Course is offered to current and future inventors and is provided through a partnership between the Office of Patent Training (OPT) and the Office of Innovation and Development (OID). Priority will be given to those who have not passed the patent bar. As a prerequisite, those accepted will be required to review several computer-based training modules prior to the start of the course.

Those interested in attending should fill out the STEPP sign-up form. More information, and a proposed upcoming course schedule, is available on the STEPP page of the USPTO website.
