If you choose, you can enter secondary email addresses to receive duplicate, courtesy copies of USPTO correspondence. Remember, only the primary email address for correspondence is used for official communication. You must keep this email address current with the USPTO.

If an attorney is filing the form on your behalf, the attorney should ensure the attorney check box is checked and then fill in the attorney's correspondence information. Remember, if your domicile is outside the United States, you must have a U.S.-licensed attorney represent you before the Office.
