Patent Quality Chat Webinar — Update on the Enhanced Patent Quality Initiative

The Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality is pleased to host the final Patent Quality Chat in the 2015 series on Tuesday, November 10 from noon to 1 pm EST to share information and collect feedback on the Enhanced Patent Quality Initiative (EPQI).  This month’s speakers are Valencia Martin Wallace, Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality and Sandie Spyrou, Senior Advisor. They will be sharing a summary of the EPQI comments collected by the USPTO to date.  They will discuss next steps that the USPTO is considering to be responsive to these comments as the Initiative moves forward.  Ms. Wallace and Ms. Spyrou will be looking forward to hearing feedback and to listening to additional stakeholder ideas.

Patent Quality Chat is a monthly, lunchtime webinar series designed to provide information on patent quality topics and gather your input. Webinar participants are encouraged to join the discussion during the event by emailing

Each Patent Quality Chat webinar includes a speaker(s) presentation (approximately 20-30 minutes) and time for questions from the virtual audience. All Patent Quality Chats are free and open to all on a first-come, first-served basis, No CLE credit will be available through the USPTO. Video recordings and any presentation materials from the Patent Quality Chats are posted on our Patent Quality Chat website after an event has concluded.
