Patent Quality Chat Webinar — Special Programs for Patent Prosecution

A monthly, patent quality webinar series

The Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality is pleased to host another Patent Quality Chat on Tuesday, October 13 from noon to 1 pm EST to share information and collect feedback on Special Programs for Patent Prosecution.  This month’s speakers are Robert Oberleitner, Assistant Deputy Commissioner for Patent Operations and Dale Shaw, Director of the Ombudsman Program. Mr. Oberleitner will be discussing the many opportunities applicants currently have to participate in patent prosecution initiatives.  Mr. Oberleitner looks forward to hearing feedback and listening to additional stakeholder ideas on the same.  Additionally, Mr. Shaw will be sharing details about the Ombudsman Program and will be encouraging feedback on how to improve this program.

Patent Quality Chat is a monthly, lunchtime webinar series designed to provide information on patent quality topics and gather your input. Webinar participants are encouraged to join the discussion during the event by emailing (link sends e-mail)

Each Patent Quality Chat webinar includes a speaker(s) presentation (approximately 20-30 minutes) and time for questions from the virtual audience. All Patent Quality Chats are free and open to all on a first-come, first-served basis, No CLE credit will be available through the USPTO. Video recordings and any presentation materials from the Patent Quality Chats are posted on our Patent Quality Chat website after an event has concluded.
