The Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality is pleased to announce the fifth Patent Quality Chat in the 2016 webinar series on Tuesday, May 10 from noon to 1 pm ET on Enhancing Examination Evaluation Using the Master Review Form (MRF) – a reprise of the discussion from the recent Patent Quality Community Symposium. Our speakers will explain how the Master Review Form is used for evaluating office actions and for providing quality metrics. Most importantly, we want to hear your feedback about the form.
The Master Review Form is the subject of a Federal Register Notice that is requesting comments through May 24, and you can see a copy of the form here.
Patent Quality Chat is a monthly, lunchtime webinar series designed to provide information on patent quality topics and gather your input. Webinar participants are encouraged to join the discussion during the event by emailing PatentQualityEventParticipationBox@uspto.gov. Always on the second Tuesday of each month, set a recurring meeting on your calendar to join us!
Each Patent Quality Chat webinar includes a speaker(s) presentation (approximately 20-30 minutes) and time for questions and comments from the virtual audience. All Patent Quality Chats are free and open to all; no registration is required, No CLE credit will be available through the USPTO. Video recordings and any presentation materials from the Patent Quality Chats are posted on our Patent Quality Chat website after an event has concluded.
