The Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality is pleased to announce the sixth Patent Quality Chat in the 2016 webinar series on Tuesday, June 14 from noon to 1 pm ET on Improving the Electronic Patent Application Process.  Our speakers will be on hand to discuss USPTO’s efforts to improve the overall electronic patent application process, which includes Patent Center, a new tool to replace EFS-Web and PAIR.  Our speakers look forward to hearing your feedback about the eCommerce Modernization (eMod) efforts as well as listening to your suggestions for new ideas.

Patent Quality Chat is a monthly, lunchtime webinar series designed to provide information on patent quality topics and gather your input. Webinar participants are encouraged to join the discussion during the event by emailing PatentQualityEventParticipationBox@uspto.gov. Always on the second Tuesday of each month, set a recurring meeting on your calendar to join us!


Each Patent Quality Chat webinar includes a speaker(s) presentation (approximately 20-30 minutes) and time for questions and comments from the virtual audience. All Patent Quality Chats are free and open to all; no registration is required, No CLE credit will be available through the USPTO. Video recordings and any presentation materials from the Patent Quality Chats are posted on our Patent Quality Chat website after an event has concluded.
