The Deputy Commissioner for Patent Quality is pleased to announce the fourth Patent Quality Chat in the 2016 webinar series on Tuesday, April 12 from noon to 1 pm ET. Christal Sheppard, Director of the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional Office (Detroit), Molly Kocialski, Director of the Rocky Mountain Regional Office (Denver), John Cabeca, Director of the Silicon Valley West Coast Regional Office (San Jose), Hope Shimabuku, Director of the Texas Regional Office (Dallas), will be on-hand to discuss customer service and the valuable resources that the regional offices bring to the IP community, as well as collect your feedback.
Patent Quality Chat is a monthly, lunchtime webinar series designed to provide information on patent quality topics and gather your input. Webinar participants are encouraged to join the discussion during the event by emailing PatentQualityEventParticipationBox@uspto.gov. Always on the second Tuesday of each month, set a recurring meeting on your calendar to join us!
Each Patent Quality Chat webinar includes a speaker(s) presentation (approximately 20-30 minutes) and time for questions and comments from the virtual audience. All Patent Quality Chats are free and open to all; no registration is required, No CLE credit will be available through the USPTO. Video recordings and any presentation materials from the Patent Quality Chats are posted on our Patent Quality Chat website after an event has concluded.
