If you need to include a concise description of relevance that is longer than 1000 characters, please upload the description in a separate document on the “Attach Documents” screen, which will be displayed after you provide all of the necessary information on the “Application Data” screen and click on the “Continue” button at the at the bottom of the page:

To upload a concise description of relevance document on the “Attach Documents” screen, click on the “Browse” button to select the document to be uploaded, select “EProcessing” on the “Category” drop down menu, and select “Concise Description of Relevance” on the “Document Description” drop down menu (see example below):
Make sure the concise description of relevance document prominently identifies the U.S. patent, U.S. patent application publication, foreign patent, published foreign patent application, or non-patent publication to which it pertains.
