Celebrating the Expansion of Patent Law Pro Bono Assistance in the Upper Midwest

On behalf of LegalCORPS and William Mitchell College of Law, we would like to invite you to participate in the formal launch of a collaborative program to expand patent law pro bono assistance to low-income inventors not only from Minnesota but also from the four adjacent states.  This expansion is the result of joint project agreements that LegalCORPS and William Mitchell each have signed with the USPTO.   It represents an exciting new phase in the life of LegalCORPS and a dynamic new role for William Mitchell.

Our celebration will take place on Monday, April 20, 2015, at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, and will consist of a series of events. The ceremony will be a wonderful opportunity not only to celebrate the future of patent pro bono, but also to reflect on the brief but uniquely successful history of the LegalCORPS Inventor Assistance Program and to acknowledge and thank all who have made our program and the expansion of assistance possible.

Please show your ongoing support for inventor assistance by accepting this invitation.  If you cannot attend the entire celebration, please consider attending at least the Launch Ceremony and Reception.  Please RSVP as soon as possible to Meg Daniel so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.
