Lisa K. Jorgenson is the Executive Director of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, a national bar association of over 13,500 members and one of the world’s leading policy and advocacy organizations in the field of intellectual property.
Ms. Jorgenson has over 25 years of experience in intellectual property, including Group Vice President, Intellectual Property and Licensing at STMicroelectronics. At STMicroelectronics, a European based multinational semiconductor company Ms. Jorgenson managed a worldwide IP group that was responsible for all aspects of IP including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters as well as worldwide licensing strategies, IP issues in R&D contracts and M&A transactions.
Ms. Jorgenson earned her B.S. from Saint Mary’s College, South Bend, Indiana, M.S. Management degree from Purdue University, Calumet, Indiana and J.D. with Distinction from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. She is admitted to the bars of the State of Texas, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
