Lead Judge Jeffrey B. Robertson was appointed an Administrative Patent Judge on March 17, 2008 and began serving as a Lead Judge in February 2013. Lead Judge Robertson works on reexamination appeals. Prior to joining the Board, Lead Judge Robertson was a patent associate in private practice, and also worked as a Primary Patent Examiner in the chemical arts. Lead Judge Robertson holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, a Ph.D. in chemistry from Texas A&M University, and B.A. in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross.
