Lead Judge Bill Saindon holds a J.D. with honors from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. After law school, he joined the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner. He was hired as a Patent Attorney at the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences in 2009, and was selected to be an Administrative Patent Judge in 2011. Judge Saindon has been worked on AIA trials since 2013.
