Judge Christopher Crumbley is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Articles Review Board of the Virginia Law Review. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Chemistry and Political Science from Rice University. Judge Crumbley began his legal career as an associate with the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP. He then served for nearly a decade as a Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, Intellectual Property Section, where he acted as lead counsel for the United States in intellectual property infringement suits and advised various Executive Branch agencies on intellectual property strategy and policy.
